Rare 1977 Mattel Electronics Missile Attack Game

This one is in such great condition, it should really be in a game museum. This is a rare 1977 Mattel Electronics Missile Attack game. Complete and it works perfectly. Condition is excellent. In fact it is in like new condition except for the fact that it has a few minor scratches on the backside and the clip on the battery door is gone so it won't stay on. Otherwise, this hard to find hand held is in amazing beautiful condition.

What makes this one so rare? Well, it was withdrawn from distribution (later resold as Battlestar Galactica Space Alert with new decals) because NBC refused to air the TV commercials for this game. The city that the missile's are attacking is apparently supposed to be New York City. They didn't want to scare the kids.
